Tenebris

Description.

Tenebris is a 2D platformer, set in a planet-Spanning cave system within an otherwise uninhabitable planet, infested with hostile, enormous bug-like creatures mutated from the consumption of a radioactive sludge called ‘Astrasine’, that leaks down from the surface.

A human colony ship crash-landed onto the planet, and subsequently inhabited the caves out of desperation, relying on the substance Astrasine for a variety of purposes, from technology to medicine.

You are one such human, who in their attempts to gather Astrasine, falls into an abyss from which you must somehow return.
